Pass a law, like DeSantis. Don't be a faggot like Abbot.

That's because it would require thinking. Same people hate common enlisted soldiers for not staging a coup.

I'd rather be snarky and negative than only being able to reference things through media.

As much as I dislike Lincoln, he was a check on the radical republicans.

In our last period of hyper inflation, farmers were the ones that suffered the most. They have to buy things too, they are not immune.

Do you buy products made for export, or do you buy products made for the American market? And, dude, our food quality already is shit. Nobody else in the world uses fake sugar and oil like we do. Literally nobody. Not even Mexico or central America.

When a loaf of wonderbread is $20. When you see clerks at stores changing the price tags on everything daily. When local businesses that were otherwise sound just go out of business.

A cultural revolution indeed. A series of cultural revolutions, even. Ours have no end state, which makes it much more dangerous.

Buy things? Suppose my neighbor has more piglets this year than he expected--suppose all I have extra of is 357 ammo--suppose he doesn't use 357 ammo. Or whatever scenario you like. Precious metal would be the medium of exchange.

Gold and silver will always be worth something and is far easier to transport than barter goods. You also will not run into a situation where the person with whom you are bartering has enough of what you have.

G&S doesn't go bad. G&S can be buried, with a small footprint, with little effort. Gold and silver will survive a fire far better than barterable goods. G&S can be run over, dropped, frozen and neglected and still be worth money.
