If it's racist to require voter IDs, why not COVID identification cards?
When Ford was president, he had a couple of stumbles, and the media treated it like comedy.
When Reagan (who was also left handed) took office, his aides told the media that if they ever published a photo of him looking foolish like that, they would no longer have a career.
"We went home and had ourselves a great Thanksgiving dinner, and the next day the cop knocked at my door and said, "Son. I heard you had more than 12 people over. Here's a citation."
So I went into my local drugstore and someone had removed all the floor stickers. It was scary - I didn't know if I was standing in the right spot or was going to risk getting COVID again. Whew.
Vox headline "3 scholars say Trump isn’t staging a coup — but he still poses a threat to democracy."
Whew. That was a close one, folks.
Here are some gloom and doom headlines I've collected (sorry, don't have the screenshots) over Trump's first term.

Thanksgiving's gonna be awkward for libs who believe Biden is going to be president and decide to "bury the hatchet" by inviting Trump supporters - only to discover possibly that Trump is officially set for a second term.
Does anyone else find this amusing? It reminds me of when I was a kid and we'd make up clubs with our friends. Though we never kept lists of our enemies to punish them.
Yesterday Slate had about eight pieces aimed at Trump's family and administrators. "Goodbye...X." etc. with lots of typical dumb insults. They sort of read like the authors were drunk or high.
Today, they've all been removed from the front page. Usually they keep stories like that up for at least a couple of days.
Time magazine - yes, it's still in business - just debuted a "Time to Heal" cover with Biden and Harris on the front. However, they both chose to pose with masks. I wonder what prompted that decision?
This morning, we had a mini-earthquake - I live in New England.
OK, careful what you ask for.
I must say liberals are much more charming when they think they've won, though.
I'll just smile and say, "I hope Biden is up to the job."
I'm not giving up, I just think it's a waste of time to argue about fraud.
Getting up in the middle of the night four years ago and discovering that Trump was winning. What a welcome surprise.
"Mr. President, people are dying in record numbers from COVID because of your negligent policies encouraging people to keep living their lives. Also, there is a record number of suicide, drug abuse, etc. from everyone having to obey lockdowns. How do you propose to solve this conundrum?"
