Following up on your point number 5 - I strongly believe what we're seeing is absolutely full blown panic from the left. Think for a second about what big tech did - they removed and alienated a MASSIVE part of their users and audience, and for what, really? To stop "violence" from a president that will be leaving in 2 weeks? Twitter flushed 5 billion dollars down the toilet and counting, Facebook - 40 billion. And they did it on a friday, right after the stock markets closed for the weekend, indicating they knew full well how much damage this maneuver was gonna cost them, and they wanted to stall as much as possible. Even not considering money, they actually leaped way the fuck backwards in their push for "progress", they went way too fast that even a lot of leftists don't agree with what they did. They're not just sensing something is off, they are flailing their arms around in full panic mode.
That's how I see it, I would appreciate a solid discussion about this if anyone has anything to add
I probably could have made the title more clear, I don't mean that we won't be holding the line after Jan 20th. I think that we need to take this one step at a time, and Jan 20th is the next step. Depending on what happens, we will then regroup and consider our options, and continue fighting.

Chinese are bumping it up. Doesn't matter tho, that's not gonna last long, most of us already left and many more users will be leaving over the coming weeks, at that point the twitter propaganda machine will be useless to the chinese and it will sink HARD
well what else is he supposed to do? say "no"? that would be illegal, and republicans don't get away with illegal things. doesn't matter if he's working on a transition, they can all still be arrested till january 20th, 11:59
may take years
