I agree - I'm disturbed since the election by this moment for "political purity" that excludes everyone except, well, Trump. We have to be willing to debate people and ideas, not cut off everyone. Use facts and reason. Don't emotionally react to a report only to find out it comes from CNN or the NYT. We need to become a movement of ideas - the ideas Trump espoused and fought for - not some purity test almost everyone will fail. I'm really worried we have learned the wrong lessons from 2020.
With all due respect, theologically speaking, God has given us all free will and doesn't save us from the exercise of said free will. It's not really His job to undo the crap that we do to each other. He promises us redemption through his Son's work on the cross IF we believe. But life down here may (and usually does) TOTALLY SUCK in the meantime. People who feel it is God's job to clean up aisle three, or even that God promises if we do X, Y or Z he will clean up aisle three, aren't really comprehending scripture IMO.
