What happens is, the dimwit and the topwit (redneck bubba conservatives and high level conservative/dissident political thinkers, like Nick Fuentes) end up wrapping around, and believing in the same things as each other. The midwit believes what the news tells him, but only if he views it as "smart people news", which is a purely aesthetic trick that gets pulled on him without his knowledge. Thus, the anti-racism rhetoric resonates deeply with the midwit. The dimwit doesn't think about it too much. The topwit is smart enough to be open to alternatives when he's made aware that there are many holes in the new ideology of anti-racism.
Short version, relying on instinct is usually the right answer. Our commoner ancestors did it forever.
