Any time you see a headline about a noose, you should immediately be thinking “hoax.” No person in 2020 is using a noose as an intimidation gesture. We don’t hang people, especially not as public acts of vigilantism, and especially not because of someone’s race. A noose carries no real threat, and does nothing but make the “noose hanger” look like a racist yokel. Even the most dimwitted racist out there has caught on to this.
That is, unless you live in the Left’s fantasy world where we are all mass-LARPing the Jim Crow segregated south.
I think the Biden campaign is going to look so stupid in retrospect. Sure it’s a great idea now to hide Biden in the basement, only coming out for brief scripted appearances, which btw he still screws those up. But the general public WILL want to actually see and evaluate their candidates as we get closer to the election. Imagine trying to sell sleepy Joe Biden to independent voters.

When I was a kid, I was told about how I could ruin my life with certain types of shitty behavior. I got in some trouble back then but the threats were enough to keep he from doing something truly stupid or dangerous. I was a dickhead back then, but if I was locked up for firebombing a police car as teenager, exactly NO ONE would feel sorry for me. I expect no less of anyone else.

You really could improve police relations with the public if you wanted to. It’s not “easy” but it’s totally reasonable. Living in a suburban neighborhood. We tore down the police tape on all of our playgrounds. One of the local police officers was talking to me about it off the record; they couldn’t give less of a shit. Probably is stuff like this happening everywhere, just not all of it makes the news.
Worked with prosecutors and government attorneys before. If politically motivated, they will believe literally any excuse imaginable. These dipshits probably could have said aliens descended from space and put bleach in the officers’ food and the authorities would have immediately dropped everything and declared “no evidence” for criminal behavior.
Yeah, I am angling for a vacation to a free state this summer. Not spending any money in this state to wear a mandatory facemask outdoors, every attraction half closed due to arbitrary, improvised “social distancing” rules.
Also no other kind of “privilege” exists, except male privilege.
