You are correct all the way! They are trying to eliminate the flat tax and give IL lawmakers power to make any new tax in the future. Moody’s just came out and said it’s a Trojan horse, even if IL raises taxes only on the rich now, they will still need to come back soon and raise taxes again on everyone including retiree benefits. Because they are not addressing the #1 problem which is public pension liability. It’s out of control the corruption and rigged pension system in IL. VOTE NO ON THE “FAIR TAX”
