Honestly this stuff is pretty wild west legally. There isn't much precedent and the precedent we have gets treated like dicta. Also the relevant statutes are poorly worded and can be interpreted several ways. Really the only truly important date is January 20th within January 6th being important too. The rest is just noise

I thought they're only appealed the denial of the motion to amend the complaint? If so, how will scotus get to review everything? Also, I didn't think they got to present evidence either so what is in the actual record to review?

Finally, what is the status of the suit regarding the late mail in votes that the scotus refused to fast track prior to the election?
