I am not tenured. The tenured have been pumping this bullshit in their classes for years. But they owned their personal ideas and there was always room for other thoughts, free speech, and those discussions were even welcomed. I know this because I also went to school there. Now, there are diversity coalitions where whites are not allowed to participate in at all and I have classes full of students who have 5 million gender identifications which we must memorize, it's not ok to be masculine because it's all "toxic masculinity," and if we don't know about the 5 million genders, we are marginalizing and disenfranchising the students. Constantly identifying micro-aggressions. And if you ask someone more about their culture, you are shaming them. It's a micro-aggression and your responsibility to learn it on your own. Whites have zero credibility when speaking in class. Did I mention I teach Psychology in a Master's Program where students working towards licensure to become a Therapist? Really great messages of "tolerance" that we're expected to teach. The Chancellor sent an official email calling Trump unhinged, out-of-control, a disgrace and shameful narcissist who has destroyed our country inciting mass violence on the Capitol on January 6th and we must come together to unite against evil. It's ugly. Oh and I was threatened to be fired if I published a memoir of mine because it didn't align with the message they want the students to hear.
