I don’t know if anyone close to the President’s team will read this or not but I wanted to share an idea.
President Trump should weaponize the National Endowment for the Arts and make it work for America for a change. Typically it’s a bureaucracy used to launder money and pay sick “artist” friends of deep state elite like Marina Abramovich and Jeff Koons. I would like to see President Trump strike back against these globalist foot soldier America hating anarchocommunists and issue an order to build 1,000 new monuments across our country.
We just spent several trillion dollars like it was nothing, so why not spend 1 billion building new statues and monuments across America? We could build 20 new grand monuments in every state. Leftist freaks want to tear down our monuments? Let’s build 1,000 more!
I would propose 1 billion through the NEA to be spent building monuments celebrating great Americans and American achievements. The people immortalized would be of all races and creeds but they would all be great Americans. Imagine a giant statue of Mark Twain standing beside the Mississippi or a giant statue of John Muir at the entrance to the Muir Woods. Imagine a statue of Washington’s friend Billy Lee who was his slave who he freed and who fought along side him during the Revolution. Statues celebrating Rosa Parks, Amelia Earhart, the Tuskegee airmen, the defeat of the USSR, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Davey Crocket, Sam Houston, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, John F Kennedy, Sally Ride, Norman Rockwell, Ernest Hemingway, the Wind Talkers... I could go on and on as there is no shortage of great Americans in our history. We rarely build new monuments celebrating our triumphs, tribulations and great men & women anymore. President Trump should take the record for the most monuments built and largest investment in American monuments and create an executive order for the “Celebrating American Heritage Act”.
I hope someone on the team sees this. Our common history is under attack and there are tens of thousands of people who have been taught to hate us and themselves. Help us to Make America Proud Again.
