See on one hand I admire Bezos's resolve and intelligence to create a great and prosperous company. But on the other hand he is scum. God bless sheriffs. They are not exactly cops. We don't need cops. Have the sheriff deputize the militia if they need a high profile arrest or extra man power.
Cops are order takers, and the police as an institution is there to protect the system and powers that be.
Unfortunately, In the current policing system the role of the sheriffs have been reduced to a ceremonial role in many jurisdictions and counties (big cities). For example the LA sheriff doesn't have proper jurisdiction over the city itself.
Did they impose consequences for leftists though? All I remember from back in summer was that they stood back while cities were burning in flames.

There is a good chance that by wearing a mask you breath in your own fumes and incubate whatever bacteria or viruses that go into your respiratory system and are supposed to be sent out by an exhale.
i.e. there is a good chance that wearing a mask will make you less healthy and more prone to pneumonia. This is why I have zero guilt and shame when someones says "nOt WeArInG a MaSk iS sElFiSh!!"
tbh I never understood the love for the police (as an institution). I mean if it comes to taking your guns away or forced vaccinations, who's gonna be carrying it out? Who is enforcing the lockdowns? Who is gonna take your ass to jail if you don't pay your (coercively collected) taxes?
That being said police officers are human beings, and I treat them with respect and dignity.
I think part of the reason the dooming went to higher levels is that people got their hopes up too high in SCOTUS (we used to think that's gonna be our avenue) and the Texas case. When it got rejected, a lot of people felt defeated.
If by a remote chance the military turns on people, the soldiers wouldn't fight the American people. Many will defect and join the militia.
