In a rural county in WV listening to a local radio station. They pipe in ABC "News".
According to the talking head, 66% of Americans believe Uncle Joe is doing a great job with Coronavirus and 56% of Americans think Trump should be impeached so he can't run again.
These numbers are beyond unbelievable going into ridiculous.
We used to make fun of the fake elections in communist countries and banana republics because the numbers were so ridiculous. Well we're living it already two weeks into the cabal administration.
Has anyone seen the Joint Chiefs letter sourced on a government server like .mil or .gov?
I've seen the letter referenced on NPR, CBS, NBC, Military.com and some other sites, but it's always an image or a pdf hosted either locally on that site or on some cloud service like Google Drive. No one links to the original doc from the source, which I find suspicious.
I checked the Joint Chief's site and there's nothing that I can find.
Or are there any service members out there who have received the letter through official channels and can verify?
I suspect this is fake news, like the NG letter they faked with Bush or the State Dept hack and the news media just lapped it up.
And why isn't the letter dated? Don't the Joint Chiefs have a competent secretary to proofread this stuff?
I've been listening to Simon Parkes for a few weeks. Haven't decided if he's plugged in, totally tripping balls, or some combination.
But he posted this within the last hour...

I'm not saying he's right or wrong - read it and come to your own conclusions.
We're trying to get a handle on what steps we should take regarding the Solarwinds issue. We don't use Solarwinds but, being a hospital, we have some interconnections with other organizations.
Just wondering if anyone in a similar situation has gone down this road to eval their potential vulnerability and might give us some pointers about where the best info is.
Work for a rural hospital. We have the vaccine coming in and it's currently optional. (I've turned it down).
Today I got this unsolicited email from the CDC:
"Vaccine Administration Management System
Your organization or employer designated you in a priority group for immunization. Please schedule an appointment with a participating clinic through the following link. Thanks, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC)"
Reading the text, it seems pretty innocuous.
But is it just me, or is there a creepy sorta Big Brother vibe to getting something like this?
I guess it means I'm on yet another list of a three-letter federal agency.
Until then, we know that even they aren't confident in the election outcome.
Edit: title should read Kamala. Damned spell checker.
I'm not an attorney. Try to follow how the legal system works as best as I can.
Question for any legal pedes here, and I know we don't have exact details, but, in general.
In cases like this, what sorts of activities are involved in this legal team "working on the case" to prepare it for court?
I see they've obtained many affidavits, which seems like a process in itself.
I'm guessing part of it is collecting leads and following them up.
Can any of you elaborate on the process? Like what happens with the leads, how they follow them up. Once they have the affidavits, then what happens?
Are they doing legal research to bolster the case? Are they at the point where they're practicing for court?
Just kind of fill us in on the types of work this legal team is doing that's taking up the time if you don't mind.
Fellow Pedes,
We're in rural WV. My wife's been stocking up on staples. At first it was a learned lesson from the covid panic - we just didn't want to be in a position where we were victims of temporary shortages again, even though we were only slightly inconvenienced last time.
However, now that we're doing more, we've noticed some trends.
The most worrisome is canning jar lids are basically unavailable. Jars are also routinely sold out. Unless there's some sort of hipster canning movement afoot, this seems to indicate a lot of people are suddenly prepping.
People around here have gardens who never had gardens before, and those who did have larger ones.
I was at a small local hardware store this morning. The owner's wife told me she's having continuous problems restocking on hardware. There's just nothing in the pipeline. I went there because the local Tractor Supply was out of all the fasteners I needed. She also said she'd be a rich woman if she had a penny for every time someone asked her if she had canning jar lids in stock (she's been sold out for awhile of lids and jars). She's doing a brisk business in 25lb bags of staples like flour, beans, sugar, etc. She's worried about coming food shortages.
I'm not seeing much about these topics online (maybe I haven't been paying attention until now). Ammo shortages are one thing, but this is a whole new dimension.
What are you guys and gals seeing out there? Any other shortages or problems getting products?
I'm thinking of stocking up on gasoline now while it's commonly available just in case I need to, but so far that hasn't been a problem.
Edit: Another trend. Guy I work with needs new tines for his rototiller. Can't find them anywhere. Decided to buy a new one - no one has them in stock. Used are going for a premium if you can find them at all, or so he tells me.
Inherited an old (ca 1949) Savage/Stevens rifle from my Dad who passed in November. Been thinking of trying my hand at hunting this fall and have been going over the old girl.
Went online for ammo. Supposed to stay on the low side - 150 or 160 grain, but a "modern" pointed tip is supposed to be beneficial. Winchester Silvertips are most often recommended.
Can't find them anywhere. Expanded the search and some sites have no 30-30 ammo at all of any type. I know hunting season is a few month's out but this seems odd.
Is this some sort of ammo production problem, or are people just buying out of whatever they can find? I was under the impression that 30-30 isn't all that popular a round because of the shorter range than a 308 or 30-06. Didn't expect it to be so hard to get. Now I'm starting to worry a little...
