Really appreciate you sharing your experience. It is unacceptable that this kid died. Tragic and horrific, the whole story. I stayed silent on all politics until this rioting and anarchy began. One death from it is too many. Sadly, he was not the only one. Call out the evil, and set a good example for those on the fence about these issues.
So he's running this year? I sure hope so! I thought it was 2024.
This performance happened shortly after the September 11th attacks on America. Patriotism and a sense of unity was very high among Americans. You can see it on everyone's face in the video.
Please take a moment to remember what Independence Day is really about: Those who made the ultimate sacrifice against tyranny. They made our history. We respect it and learn from it.
Reach out to those who have lost this unity and respect for our country. They are not among us on this site. Many of them do not remember 9/11. Some were not even born yet. You must not let propaganda and lies destroy their perspective of America. The goal is not to pick a side, it is to unite.
Thank you for being brave and sharing your story. I am sorry to hear about your brother. There are no words for it. We can only move forward and spread awareness about these tragic events.
What else to they have? A real goal to better humanity... nope.
Some nice old farmers missed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see a President in their home state. That's heartbreaking. Presidents never go to South Dakota. People are really nice there.
Imagine if a crowd blocked people from seeing Obama, the first black President. Physically imposing your political view is disgusting, cowardly, and it shows a lack of intelligence through an inability to debate.
Yes that is really messed up in ways no one can explain. Thoughtless and inconsiderate.
I hope people share this on other platforms. His memory should not be forgotten. Americans will not be silenced.
Thank you everyone for commenting and voting on this post. Please take a moment to think what it would be like to lose a son this way. Race, politics, a call from the President, a lack of empathy from Seattle officials... None of it really matters to the family. Their son is dead and nothing will bring him back.
What matters to the rest of us is they were brave enough to share their horrible experience with the world. Hopefully some good will come out of this terrible event.
The press will not give them much coverage. Take a moment to think about this family and share their story with your friends and neighbors.
