I don’t know of any studies one way or the other, but I can tell you common sense would tell you they don’t prevent the spread of a virus. If you vape, take a hit, put on your mask, and blow out the vapor. You can “see” where breath/droplets go.

Easier said than done. They can’t just “hack” Nancy Pelosi’s laptop. They would need to successfully target her with phishing attempts or social engineer there way in somehow.
