This probably sounds hackneyed and overly obvious, but a rush to judgment is almost always a bad thing, especially when it comes to legal matters. In almost every one of these supposedly racist LE incidents in which video was involved, people saw one clip and said, “well I saw it with my own eyes and it made me feel this emotion so therefore it was definitely unjust.” But this is the whole reason we have a deliberative judicial process. Ok, you’re mad. Fine. Great. Whatever. Settle down. Now we’re going to get down to the real work of finding out what happened and whether or not laws were violated. I doubt he’s the sole cause but Obama, over and over again, did not follow the long established norm of telling people to chill out and let the process work the way it needs to. If race was involved, he’d always jump in and be like, “are you mad? Well, you’re right. You should be mad. We can all see with our own eyes what happened.” And this from a supposedly “brilliant” lawyer! And of course Trump is the destroyer of all important norms. Not beloved Obama. No, never.

Hell yeah. I always thought Salt Lake City seemed like a cool place to live. I was seriously shocked when some of the worst antifa acts of violence happened there. But this is the cure. And I quite firmly believe it’s the only way. You wouldn’t put a camp fire out with a fire department hose, but you better not try to put a 4 alarm blaze with a bucket of water either. Well, if they’re protesting against tyrannical mask measures then I don’t consider them idiots. Secondly, you do what you can arguing with people using reason and logic. As I see it, there is nothing that a lot of the state governments have done to a majority of the population of the country that is less egregious than the events that triggered the Revolutionary War. And I really mean that. I don’t think it’s at all a stretch. It was/IS as if the constitution never existed. Even worse, the protected the “rights” of actual criminals to victimize the rest of society!
Lockdowns haven’t loosened in any meaningful way in a lot of states. East coast/blue states. And obviously some stares were “forced” by unrelenting media hate to institute more severe measures for the first time (Texas). Once they’re in place they don’t seem to roll back much.
