The rural part of VA is so beautiful and I hope I won't regret moving there soon from northern VA rather than moving to a red state. With the influx of so many people and expansion of northern VA, I doubt that this state will ever go red again.
Another good reason: liberals are always complaining about 2020 and how things can't get any worse. On one hand, they will freak out, but on the other, they will realize that 2020 wasn't going well for them anyways and that they should have expected this.
I'm definitely not the stereotypical Republican either, but I think that most fellow Republicans will accept me just because I love this country and what it stands for. I feel like many Democrats don't realize that it's the Republican party that is the party of compassion and love, and many things that they believe in will be more tolerated by the people on this side, even if they don't agree with all of their beliefs.
I looked at the rules for absentee voting in VA online. Apparently in the years prior, you had to have a witness sign that he/she was present when you voted. This year because of covid, you didn't need to have a witness present.
