It's not about censoring the farmers. The law was implemented for the entire nation but only a section of farmers from two northern states are protesting/rioting against it. It happened in India as well, leftist rules states propped up the death toll from covid, they even organized a mass migration of workers/laborers from cities to villages in order to spread covid when India had almost curbed the virus in the beginning.

Indian government had been distributing hydroxy chloroquine and zinc tablets as a covid-kit throughout India since summer of last year. Cases started dropping since November and most states are almost covid free now. If only these silver bullets could be used in US as well.
Yes, but not all cultures are equal. India has had a history of nonviolent culture and hence how the values of the society have evolved. The left/socialists have had a free reign for the last 50 years and they passed every clown law possible.

Indians have been kicking commies out of the government in the last few election cycles, and there's a cultural civil war going on that the media doesn't cover just like in the US. Commies got into the Indian government during 70s when US refused to help India, siding with pakistan, and India had to seek help from Russia. There still are some socialist/communist remanants in the govt but Indian society is on the path to a more right-leaning society.
