It was all appreciated. The homemade crafts, the packages of Koo-Aid or flavored drink mix for water bottles, gum , candy, toiletries, Bibles (even though I already have one), those things you wet and put around your neck to keep cool that were filled with some sort of crystals.

They with few exceptions are racist and completely inept at their jobs.
The centers they were hired on as H1-B used to be called "curry dens".
Cheating is rampant in India as is paying for your kids access/grades.
They also talk with each other and help each other get hired for roles they are not qualified for.
So that H1-B visa hire that looks shit hot on paper actually cheated through uni and is only hired because his friend recommened him to HR. Rinse and repeat.
H1-B's (at least in IT) from India wind up costing the business MORE than if they would just hire an American and pay them a decent wage.
I used to have to go in and fix their fuck ups.

Free. Used it for years. Works on sites other than youtube. GREAT way to back up videos to keep especially nowadays that sites like to censor and take down stuff.
