I kWiT mUh jErB cAuSe pOliTics. So easy to ragequit when you don't have a bunch of other people relying on you for food, water, shelter and clothing.

Nah. I think a good part of the problem is how people who think that way get their information, and the fact that it's packaged to agitate.

They're getting worse about it... they'll start with a decent plot line, you think "ok, this works", and then Bam. They drop in gays, or the Magic Female ( 100 pounds, but beats up 280 pound dudes, or has some special power ). Ruins it, and I'm gone. Look, I don't care if someone's gay, but dumping them in every plot line is boringly obvious social manipulation. Keep it.

You're probably their boss.

He was out of the daily CNN bubble... and it dawned on him how badly they and him look.

They just don't care if -some- people know they're lying. That's because if they push the false message hard enough, they'll be believed by the large number of people who simply cannot fathom that they're being lied to.

I think he's right because some business will be decoupled from China, and that creates opportunity downstream.

This isolation keeps up, we may need a bigger wall. Might need a brick or two...

Seems like you could just replace the word socialists with the word politician really.

Pickin' up some serious steam, and it's seriously funny and sharp edged today.

I suppose you haven't through the process... "anyone" can't get these jobs. We volunteered (with at least -some- sense of duty to serve the Country), passed mandatory initial physical exams and security clearances, qualified by completing Basic and AIT with multiple failure points and attritions along the way while under physical and psychological duress. Then after graduating and being passed along to permanent party, performed to spec under the threat of incarceration if we didn't. No matter the MOS. I don't care if you cooked, supplied, nursed, were personnel, or had a combat arms assignment. And... in no danger is inaccurate. We lost personnel in a variety of ways even in peacetime, if you didn't keep your head on a swivel while operating around 60 ton armored vehicles. Unless you have done the least of the assignments one may be tasked with after passing BASIC and AIT, I understand why you think as you do, and I hope this gives you pause.

When this President publicly says the equivalent of " Dude, seriously... " to Barr, then it is either an agreed upon ploy to buy to time for Barr to continue while establishing his credibility as an independent operator, or Barr is protecting the swamp. So, if Barr isn't fired within weeks / months, then this is intended to bolster the DOJ's credibility in order to deflect media attacks when they begin arresting famous faces.

Agreed. Prosecute the elite when they break the law, - or - change the law so no one is charged. Or we won't follow it either. It's either a law, or tyranny.

I think it's establishing a trail, one proven link at a time, that leads to an inevitable, inescapable conclusion. Then the big players can't prevaricate. Then they wear the jumpsuit.

I laughed, I whooped, I cut onions, and was incredibly inspired. I'll have a heaping helping of summa dat four more years, please.

But it's an opportunity to argue logic and truth as well. Many are turned one comment, one discussion, one paragraph at a time, toward reason.

Question - if there wasn't a good haul of profit in it, would we get the best and brightest in that field? And isn't the profit motivation for their best efforts?

That was fantastic. And that lady holding the gavel had absolutely no idea how badly they'd just been invalidated as a body and shamed (at least in the minds of the pro-Brexit people).

Remember da names! I like how he goes through the names of the people involved reasonably frequently so that this sinks in. Lets you connect your own dots.

I think it would mean more if they apologized while wearing an orange jump suit. I know, I know, these things take time to do correctly, and that's true. Took us 100 years to get here... I know. And I'm board for the long run. But in my remaining life time, if we could at least - start- getting these people properly accommodated in general population with stiff sentences, that'd be great.

I think there have always been people who thought "the balance of power" would be maintained by allowing adversaries equal access to the most powerful weaponry available, and worked to provide it to them to checkmate all superpowers. I think they were ( and the current version of them ) misguided. But the damage they have done must be addressed, no matter the station of the individual in question.

Did a couple of forehead taps too, just to keep their attention.
