While those two statements are true, they don't really give a solid reason as to why they would have to tell you their evil plans for you in order to drag you down to Hell. After all, if the wages of sin is (eternal) death (Romans 6:23) then any sin will cause one to die. And given that all have sinned (Romans 3:23), then the only thing they would have to do in order to get you to Hell at that point is to murder you before you could receive salvation from Jesus by believing, repenting, and being baptized into Him (Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38).
Now If you're a Christian then they would have to get you to fall away in order to cause you to lose your salvation.
