The original Young Turks got rid of the monarchy and instituted multiparty democracy in an area that never knew it but here you are shitting on them because some other group you don't like took that name.
Seems like these guys were the founding fathers of modern Turkey, a stalwart NATO and American ally who is hosting US nuclear weapons and strategic forces for like 70 years now and would the the first to take an atomic bomb right to the face for that support, but you swallowed so much Armenian propaganda you're willing to just lock-step accept what happened.
I bet you would be pretty outraged if you found a Turkish discussion board where they were calling George Washington a terrorist and of course the thing we did to the Indians, that's definitely genocide according to them.

I worked with an Indian guy who was super racist against other Indians, they lived just a couple of hundred miles away but they were beasts, not really human to him. And it wasn't a tribal thing, he was hung up on their skin, their foreheads, their intelligence. People just hate other people and they need a reason, weird racism is right there for them.
This was not an easy choice: I am voluntarily sacrificing the support of a large institution and guaranteed salary in exchange for nothing other than a belief that there are enough people who believe in the virtues of independent journalism and the need for free discourse who will be willing to support my work by subscribing.

Well the editorial pages have historically been separate from journalists, like you have the Jimmy Olsen's who go out there and get the stories and then you have John Jonah Jameson telling you what to think in the other part of the paper. Problem is these days Jimmy thinks he's Jonah, and Jonah doesn't seem to care.
I think I got it. That's because on a train it's really easy to isolate yourself. Like oops Joe is having a bit of moment excuse us, and they go back to Joe's car and the blinds go down and then later when the drugs kick in he comes back to the front.
In a plane there's nowhere to go, you got crew and press and other people everywhere. It's not like Joe flies on AF1 with private bedrooms.
The best thing about that entire image is I have no idea how many or if any of them are Chinese or Russian or some other bot just spewing noise and random confusion and anger.
I'm not saying there are bots in that screenshot, I'm saying those people write like they are.
I had TONS of illegal stuff in my car, from pot pipes to BB guns to fireworks and I never had any trouble because I never gave them a reason to look under the seat, in the glove compartment, and in the trunk. That's because I always had my hands on the wheel and my getting my paperwork didn't involve any furtive movements.

They respect him because he's reasonable and friendly IRL. If you ever watch some of his longer interviews where he drops his guard a little and relaxes you can see he jokes around but makes good points with specific examples. Like with Fitty you know you can disagree and still be cool with him because he never gets outright hostile about stuff. He's actually a pretty funny guy. It can be disarming.
Which is good because his resting face looks like he could just destroy your entire world if you annoy him.
The internet as we know it didn't arise until graphical browsers were made available which didn't happen until 1993. People were online, but if you mentioned the word "internet" in 1990 no one would know what you're talking about.
