There is some serious crying wolf fatigue going around due to all our hopes so far being a nothingburger. Seems like the game was rigged but more so, the aftermath to progress slipperily with no hope of preventing the rigged outcome. It’s like being upset that LSU won the cfb natty from last year and were cheating. Or deflategate in the NFL. Just a “oh well”, maybe a historical footnote is all that happens.

So far...

SHOW US. I’m getting real tired of all this bloviating. Enough of the talk, let’s see action.

I’ve said this elsewhere but as a medial professional, the rescinding of HCQ from the EUA made zero sense. It has bad adverse effects but these show up after 3+ years of use usually. For COVID, it would be a very short term use and the adverse effects cited in its removal would have almost zero chance of causing any problems.

Very odd.

Doctors are usually educated well beyond their intelligence and tend to be lefty, although it is extremely interesting to see political trends broken down by specialty.

They are some of the worst at equivocating their expertise in one, sometimes narrow field of medicine to all other aspects of life. When the have no business doing that.

I will say this; HCQ does have some serious adverse effects, and these were cited when the EUA excluded it.

But the odd thing is, those adverse effects come with long term use, usually after 3 years at the earliest. Even so, they are reversible if you are watching for them. The exclusion of HCQ in the EUA usages doesn’t make any sense.

Very strange that they re-approved it after a while. Seemed like the opportunity for discussion had passed by then and its blight was indelible. Very unfortunate.

I am a licensed professional in the medical field. Most of us are good people who just want to do a good job. Having said that, I lost all faith, confidence, & pride in its public representation when hundreds of medical “experts” came out and said systemic racism was a public health crisis and that makes protesting and rioting during the pandemic okay. So, any opinion is fair game now.

I was listening to that hearing but couldn’t stomach the 30 minute advertisement written by diversity hire marketing team members there. It was clear that he was just going to sit there and lie his ass off. What&/ the harm? He would be going to jail if caught anyway.

This guy hoisted himself by his own petard by showing up today. There is zero chance he is not lying.

This reminds me of the time that Andrew Jackson got Van Buren, his best man, to resign as a publicity stunt. More than meets the eye here I think.

I just wish Barr had something to fall back on, this is a bad look and it’s hard not to think he’s a compromised dud.
