I was not comparing them to the Roman Legions. I was making a point about the difference between a group of people acting as individuals vs a team acting as a single unit. There is a big difference.
The videos from Project Veritas and others have shown how organized they are.
The video from the Portland hit squad was frightening. A team attack, one person calling out who to shoot, one shooter, multiple fake witnesses, even pretending to give medical help. Even the camera man was in on it. It looks like YouTube took that video down.
Did you watch the video of the four guys being attacked? These are not rudimentary tactics. Taking someones situational awareness away is a fairly advanced tactic.
Other reports from riots explain how an attacker will come in and assault you, then run away while three screeching women will fill the gap to block you and confuse you as they are all wearing black. Once you face the screeching harpies, another will step in and assault you from a direction you are not watching from. Rinse, Repeat.
Rudimentary or not. They have killed people. And a low skilled team will still win against high skilled individuals.
Underestimating them would be a fools mistake. You think you are a Billy Bad Ass because you own a gun and have been to the range a few times?

They have coordinated communications. Lara Logan reported them driving mobile radio repeaters in to the riots.
They have been training and practicing team tactics. They have regular training meetings. How to commit acts of violence as safely as possible. And they have gotten very good at it.
A team of people who can act as a team will always win over a group of unorganized individuals. No matter how skilled a group of individuals might be. This is why the Roman Legions were so successful in battle. A superior fighting force to any opponent they encountered. They were the first to be able to act as a team.

The recent South American style hit squad in Portland was one incident showing their planning and team work.
There was another in Portland also. A group of 4 men (former mil infantry) were accosted by BLM / Antifa. They said the attackers were very good at taking their situational awareness away. Using pepper spray and strobe lights. Effectively blinding them during the attack. And hitting them with multiple attackers. Using large rocks, pushing them. One guy using a bat.
