Just got an email back from the devs addressing a lot of our questions and concerns from the last thread, looks like they are planning on a releasing it on steam as soon as possible and they are also working hard on a version for the oculus quest/quest 2 platforms as well. They also informed me that they have been removed from the search and browse results on itch.io at this time but the actual game page is still online, they are waiting to hear back from itch support as to why they are being censored.

Exactly my point, I've been trying to verify as many dead as I can but it's hard, only so much data on findagrave and if they died before 1990 or so the records have never been digitized and would have to be dug up manually at a county clerk I believe.

Steam came up when I talked to their lead dev earlier, I think they are weighing the up front cost to publish on steam at the moment as they are giving it away for free anyway, I told them they need to take donations but I don't know what the status is on that, I'll send them another email with some follow up q's and report back if I hear anything of note.
