Agreed, it's pure theater like everything else they do.

Every once in a while I think about how things would turn out if there was a system like the one in Starship Troopers:
Everyone has rights, except voting. To be able to vote, you have to serve. It doesn't matter if you have some severe disability, they will find something for you to do, even if it means installing an useless lever somewhere and asking you to move it up and down on a daily basis.
And only 3 things stop you from serving: not being able to understand your oath, being a criminal or having quit the process previously.
If people have to commit and sacrifice in order to be able to vote, maybe they take it more seriously.
I see more and more people speaking for secession because of that. It's not fair for you to reap what others have sown.
But then again it seems the world care less and less about fairness, so...
It's certainly possible, I just think it's really unlikely. Particularly now, post election, with a backstabbing Republican Party and a non-existent judiciary.
The machine protects itself, it's very unlikely that anyone will get recalled, much less imprisioned. I mean, there's evidence of fraud already and nothing's been done.
At this point I fear the most likely result of an "audit" is "prove" that Chairman Bai Den won fairly and attempt to further delegitimize us, the "conspiracy theorists".
He loves the dead tho. And the young. The very, very young.
It seems like the left already has permanent power, since Republicans just roll over and let them do whatever.
It'd take a mighty effort to takeover the Republican Party since most people in it want to go back to a time where Dems got the power and Rep's lazy asses got the paychecks while pretending to be opposition.
Also, what harm can the split even cause that the "representatives" have not already caused? Pretty much every important issue those lazy Republican morons allow the Dems to have their way.
