I don’t think this is a worry. See 1876 election, a bipartisan commission was created after a few states results were in doubt. If anything, SCOTUS may mandate something similar.

I don’t see why this is such a worry some point. It seems very obvious to me that the state legislatures would send replacements rather than just saying “oops alright we just won’t send those people”
