You can lose battles and still win the war. Portland is probably a battle that should be ceded. Let it stand as an example of what the left will do to everyone else. Oregan was never going to vote for Trump anyways.

Never said the media would give fair coverage. Frankly thats not in the cards. However we can keep from giving them fuel. As I said before, they are desperate to try to redirect these riots back onto trump since it is destroying them in the polls. Don't give them the ammunition to do it. Let the blue cities burn. When they get sick of it, they can demand their elected officials bring in federal support.

If he did, it would be amplified by the media, and he would be painted as a facist. Remember when Trump sent law enforcement to portland courthouse? Remember the hits he took in the media, which hurt him with voters? Trump could indeed end this by election, but it would make the chance of Biden being elected much higher.

No, he is doing the right thing. Publicly and repeatedly offer help, and let the democrats reject it, when they do, whatever happens gets blamed on them. Right now the Democrats own the violence, don't let them redirect it back to Trump. After the election then he can bring the hammer down.

I think the only thing that will cause them to shift back would not only be a loss, but a loss of one of their democrat strongholds. If NY or CA were to go for trump it would shock most of them into action.

Well they didn't call themselves "protest kitchen", it was pretty obvious what they were doing.

As much as we all hope its something big, its probably nothing too earth shattering. Probably something about hating trump, or how Cohen justifying trying destroy Trump. While not a good look for either person, it also won't move the needle much, if at all with regards to the election.

I could be wrong, but I'm not holding my breath.
