^This times a thousand. I highly recommend you to watch Joshua Phillips's Crossroads from Epoch Times and NTD broadcasting if you want China-specific news and how much they're struggling right now.

Absolutely, which is why I plan on voting and being active in my new community. At least in TX, it isn't all lost like it is in California.

Leander is a pretty remote spot despite being 30~ mins away from downtown Austin. The property tax is the lowest of all the northern suburban Austin areas(Cedar Park, Roundrock, Georgetown, and Pflugerville) so there's that added benefit. I like how it's not as developed, a lot of green belts and gas prices are typically .30 cheaper than what you would get in Austin proper.

You can get most of what you need from the HEB+ in the more urban center by the Leander metro station or in Cedar Park which is just 10 mins down the road. A lot of commercial buildings are being built so I expect more things to be available in 3-5 years. Houses there are around 250-350k if you're looking for a single-family home (usually 3BR/2BA). I'd make moves soon though, the market is a bit nutty(fall/winter is usually slow + I anticipate the prices to rise as the demand exceeds the supply) and if you aren't buying a new house from a builder where offer bidding isn't really a thing, prepare to have a bit of a buffer on your budget to anticipate a bidding war if its a highly sought out neighborhood.

If you're Asian (I'm of Korean descent), the H-Mart and Japanese markets are located on the north side of Austin which makes it convenient for me as you can just take the 183 south.

Same here, I still love my home state for what it used to be but I feel like theres no saving it now. Seeing how close TX was this election was a wakeup call and I decided to warpspeed my move out of CA to TX to keep this state red and to buy a home :)

I'm a CA pede that just bought a home in Leander north of Austin, I'll be up there to hold the line against those who f'd up by home state to oblivion.

+1 for NTD news, they're extremely fair and balanced and I respect their video explaining why media are not the end-all for an election.

Below is their great response: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjMHEGgye04

You can have a setting where they can only suggest edits to the sheet. Look at their work and verify, that way you can do two things at once. Collecting & verifying the data.

The minute I saw the BLM co-founder commie endorsing her opponent, I knew that we would be mega f'd if she lost as well.

I voted in the morning and it was pretty empty at my polling place. Was in the auditorium at an old high school in Glendale, LA.

Lets go!!! I managed to pull 5 people to the polling booths today my mom included. Rooftop LA Koreans for Trump!

Brought my mom out to vote, she's a 65-year-old South Korean legal immigrant now citizen who never voted in her life. Told her about the policies that Trump is running on, she voted Red across the board!! Let's flip California back Red!!

CA, in the process of moving to TX. Voted in Los Angeles, CA with my MAGA hat on. Got glares and a jogger that I was passing by while heading to the booth, raspberry'd at me with his mask down after seeing my hat. Just responded with "Real mature" and voted Red across the board.

Honestly, I'm concerned about the future of South Korea. The government is huge there and the people entrust way too much for the government to handle. Job creation is in the shitter, the job market is awful, the government sector is incredibly big and is highly sought after by the Korean population. The private sector is stagnant and Samsung isn't as profitable as an enterprise with government support, just like the zaibatsus in Japan(Sony, Honda, Toyota, Suzuki, Mitsubishi).

With the way things are going, I am unsure on how they will react to the growing tensions between us and China. They are really economically tied with China with a lot of trade going their way. https://thediplomat.com/2020/08/the-us-south-korea-alliance-and-the-china-factor/

We even had a THAAD missile deal that almost fell through because of China throwing a hissy fit.
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-china-southkorea-usa-thaad-idUSKBN2350XA

If they continue to elect cucks like Moon, then yes I do believe our alliance with them will be at risk. It's shocking, but the younger generation (Millenials) are so naive to communism, they want more ties with China and are more cautious with how Trump's leadership is making a return to America-first doctrine. The older generation is staunchly conservative but want too much from the government in welfare, social health programs, the works. At most, I think they'll become another puppet state like North Korea is for the CCP.

Moon is a shitstain on South Korea with his frighteningly similar all smiles no action Obama persona.

He's allowed China to infiltrate the country and create China town enclaves all throughout the country. I have family and friends in S.K. who have no idea what is happening under Moon's admin. https://www.beltandroad.news/2020/04/13/chinas-extensive-belt-road-in-south-korea/

The sudden relationship breakdown with Japan was also due to Moon's reckless judge appointees that have decided to seize private assets owned by Mitsubishi Japan for "reparations". This shit has been squashed already and I as an American of Korean descent is sick of this victimhood mindset carried by so many people there. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_on_Basic_Relations_between_Japan_and_the_Republic_of_Korea#:~:text=South%20Korea%20agreed%20to%20demand,colonial%20rule%20in%20the%20treaty.

Thanks for the write up with facts to back it up. I'm honestly a bit disappointed with some of the caveman logic on here and /r/tucker_carlson to why she would be a bad appointment to SCOTUS. She seems sound to me and she's consistent with rulings and interpretation of the constitution when it comes to rulings.

Holy cow...that is my childhood neighborhood in La Crescenta Foothill and Boston. There's an In-n-Out right across the street from that Albertson and a Big 5. These monsters are tearing my hometown apart, the people that live there are just folks that want to live a quiet life.

Ditto, static site generators like Hugo, Gatsby, and even Jekyll; then host it on Netlify and cruise control. The CD is easy too, you can get it to automatically deploy anytime you make a change! You can even host static sites on an AWS S3 Bucket for peanuts.
