Zero purpose or reason
That is it in a nutshell. These people live comfortable lives that are devoid of any meaning or purpose. They cling onto these causes to try to bring a purpose to their lives.
We used to get purpose out of building families and being a member of a neighborhood community. Now we live empty lives of comfortable isolation in shithole cities where nobody knows or cares about anyone else but themselves.
Social media and legacy media have filled the gap for community by connecting us with like-minded people from around the country. Instead of making our personal lives better, we focus on national issues that are promoted by the media.
You mean the pre-WWI geopolitical order where countries were free to make their own decisions without the bankers and globalists telling them what to do? I would take that in a heartbeat.
Why do we still have politicians who think central planning works? The fall of the Soviet Union should've put that idea to bed once and for all. Instead, we have idiots like Kissinger who have expanded the idea of central planning into the world economy. He brags that we haven't had a world war under his system, but ignores the 70 years of small wars we have had to prop up the system.
It's all about power and control and they will take whatever position they need to take to gain more of it. They only offer bipartisanship and 'healing' as a way to increase their power. When they weren't in power, they were all about lies and obstructions to diminish the other party's power.
The self esteem movement has produced a lot of adults who are still children. They were raised thinking they're special and everything they do is special. They got trophies for not putting in any effort to succeed.
Now that they're adults, they're finding that they're not special and that you have to put in the effort to succeed. Rather than accepting these things, they're demanding that society and government change to make everyone special and give trophies to everyone.
