He is just being used as an example. Trump wants to see who in congress is actually willing to speak up about it. If they do something about it then they will be cornered about doing something about it when they all get exposed.

They aren’t required to vote on party lines. There wasn’t parties when the constitution was written.

That is very true. I guess you could say they loved Obama but we are way more passionate about Trump.

They don't have to be in the building to cast votes. Relax.

Yep. I don't think the Republican State Legislators have the balls to send electors for Trump. I am hoping that whatever each state decides puts Trump ahead in electoral votes (with neither at 270) just for perception prior to the House Delegations taking up a vote. We need at least one state to send electors for Trump so that the country can see how much the Democrats and media will chimp out over it.

It is possible but the State Legislature would be a pretty good judge of whether or not their own laws were followed. SCOTUS can’t rule on state laws. If they weren’t followed then SCOTUS will affirm the State’s legislatures power to correct it by choosing the electors to themselves as is directed by the constitution.

Texas is seeking a remedy because the constitution says the State Legislature not the State Executives determine the election laws in a state. SCOTUS can just say yeah you are right, the legislatures are allowed to decide how to appoint their electors at any time even after an election. There is no other remedy that I can imagine. They aren’t just going to give the states to Trump because they aren’t ruling on votes. I doubt they will nullify that state’s electors entirely. They could really get wierd and tell the legislatures to make a decision based on their own laws and what they deem to be legal votes. I still think it goes to the house.

SCOTUS will cop out and just reaffirm the right of state legislatures to remedy their election by appointing the electors if they don’t feel their own laws were followed. The pressure on the legislatures will be immense and they probably won’t send any electors to the electoral college. Then it goes to house delegations which go 26 to 24 for Trump. This will draw out all the way to January and Trump will be slow dripping all the dirt on Biden on the Dems to make it an easy decision for the house delegations.

I see that as the likely scenario. Regardless of whether they rule on whether states violated the constitution that will be suggested. If they say they aren’t going to weigh in on states violating their own laws they may make a ruling that the legislature CAN appoint electors even against state law because the constitution supersedes it. If they declare the actions of these states unlawful they will say the legislature MUST take up the decision. I doubt they will get into declaring certain groups of votes legal or unlawful unless there is a constitutional or federal statue violated. I think no matter what they reaffirm the power of the state legislatures. SCOTUS wont decide the election. These legislatures could even opt to not send electors at all if they dont have guts depriving Biden of 270. Then it goes to house delegations which go 27 to 23 for Trump. While all this drama is going on and people dont know what is happening fully expect Trump to be slow dripping parallel stories that cast doubt on a Biden win. Chinese influence, dominion vote changing, spygate, seth rich etc. Trump has been stockpiling ammo to use against their big dirty.

Supposedly Dominion was used in 2016 but somehow patriots sabotaged the cheat. That was said years ago and while at the time it seemed larpy it now seems very plausible.

If she helps reform 230 great. Don’t ever trust her though. Democrat trojan horse for future elections designed to siphon Trump support. She is part of every globalist organization there is.

I trust Tulsi just like I trust Crenshaw and AOC. I don’t. They are all Obama and McCain clones. I think the feud between her and Hillary is fake. They are channeling Trump support into her future candidacy because even Democrats see how much support Trump has.

Cool now we can start diagnosing half the Democrat party with it.

The Supreme Court has recognized the federal governments power to make federal election law so long as it isn’t explicitly how they choose their electors. There is nothing in the constitution saying that states even need to hold a vote for president by the people. They could just choose the electors every 4 years if they wanted.

Not totally true. The voting rights act of 1965 as an example was made to enforce the 14th amendment. Voters id or mail in could be argued to enforce equal protection.

I’m not surprised anymore

Ted has been a champ since 2016. Never cucked. He realized the hard way how much support Trump has. He has been a great ally to Trump.

37 votes is 0.26 percent of 14,192 votes. To your point though it causes a 0.52 net difference between the candidates since it isn’t simply 37 votes added or subtracted but changed from one to the other. We are both correct depending on how that number is presented. It is also true as we both stated that it is enough to affect the whole election on Georgia if that happened in every county.
