I am a mail man and I can tell you that those fundraiser mailers are sent with the lowest form of postage possible yet are usually huge and non machine-able. I don’t know if your mail man is a douche or not but I can tell you these things get bent and mangled all the time due to their size and level of postage paid. These things are usually sent at a rate of $0.20 when the normal postage would be $1.55. These nonprofit mailers are crazy low on the postage tier.
