Our common food sources do not provide the necessary things we need to live, and instead push us all towards obesity, diabetes, and heart disease, so that drugs can be sold in perpetuity for more profits for the medical and pharmaceutical establishments.
Vitamin D is an important factor for your body's ability to control the virus. But it's not about the vitamin D that you take now, it's about what was stored in your body months ago - and most Americans are far deficient in that regard.
My family physician is over 80 with multiple serious co-morbidities that put him at significant risk for major Covid-19 issues. He got it and was fine. His elderly patients with similar issues who have gotten Covid-19 all survived without hospitalization or side affects. These are his recommendations.
Healthy people worried about Covid-19 should do this:
- Vitamin C: 1,000 mg per day (ideally buffered C)
- Vitamin A: 10,000 IU per day
- Vitamin D: 5,000 IU per day
Plus updating your diet with more raw vegetables and fewer processed foods or sugary foods and beverages.
If you've contracted Covid-19, then:
- Vitamin C: increase as tolerated up to 10,000 mg per day
- Vitamin A: 400,000 IU for two days, then back to 10,000 IU per day
- Vitamin D: 50,000 IU for two days, then back to 5,000 IU per day
He also prescribes HCQ, AZN, and Zinc protocal for anyone with active Covid-19. In lieu of HCQ, you can dose with Quercertin supplements (2400-5000 GDU per day) and Zinc (50-100mg per day) for the first few days, and then taper off to recommendation daily intake for both until recovered.
Chapparral tea with a tsp of cinnamon and raw honey can also be used 2-3 times per day while actively Covid-19 positive.
There's significant debate about how effective that anti-spall coating is, but generally it has to be pretty thick to have a shot at doing it, and then you have to add the anti-spall sleeve, and then the trauma pad underneath the plate as well - which means you have an even heavier plate setup that is also even more bulky than a good ceramic plate. And all of that also makes them almost as costly as a good set of ceramics.
If steel plates worked, I think the military would be issuing guys with them since they're cheaper and last longer. But everyone is issued ceramic or ceramic/UHMWPE combo products as their front, rear, and side body armor.

AR500 plates are definitely very suboptimal. They are heavy and the spalling generated from taking hits will end up killing you anyway. Get a decent set of lvl4 ceramics like RMA, Hesco, or Guardian - multi-curve for your front plate, and single for the back. They weigh a ton less and the spalling won't murder you.
I shoot steel plates a lot at my outdoor range, and the wood frames are spaceD a foot or more away from the plates but they are absolutely torn up from bullet and jacket fragments. I don't want that going through my arms and neck.

I personally don't own a p320 but I rented a p320c at a range a couple years ago and shot the hell out of it. Like 300 rounds in one range setting, couldn't put the thing down. They're great handguns.

Yup. It'll depend a lot on what shakes out in MI, PA, WI, AZ, and Georgia, so it's still possible we maintain the White House, keep a 52 or 53 seat majority in the Senate, and get 217 or 218 seats in the House.

These are US House Seats. Republicans needed to take 17 seats to get a house majority. They successfully defended all 27 seats that were allegedly "up for grabs" from Republican incumbents, and have taken 13 away from Democrats.
I can see how that would line up, and it would explain why the judge was so eager to literally prosecute the case himself so as to delay its inevitable end.
The pardon is odd to me considering that Flynn never broke the law. Of what did he get pardoned, exactly?
