its worth it to go to a barber but my hair just grows so fast id really have to keep going every 1.5-2 weeks to maintain any sort of style so its ridiculously expensive.
I can manage to do a nice fade into a complex beard style and edge it up myself weekly for basically free as long as I have the tools, and its just way more cost-effective.
Luckily i was able to train myself to do this simple but very professional style well, aside from lining up or rounding off the back perfectly.
but honestly, everyone who's seen me since says they wouldnt go back to a barber if they could do it like that either.
so im just taking it as a blessing and doing it this way.
by "looking rich" I mean i can always have a perfectly edged up and perfectly matching hair and beard style/length and its basically like im a TV actor who is always prepped up before being shown.
its honestly kind of nice to be able to cut your own hair well. because then you arent budgeting in haircuts at all -- and can get even 4 a month if you want.
Its work, and its not easy to do though especially if the style isnt as simple as what im doing.
