FYI, twitch inflates those numbers live with embedded streams, so if news articles have it embedded or if it’s on a site as an ad, it will count towards the total, this is a trick esports has been doing for forever so that 400k is definitely false
Idk if this is them all but these got dumped and we didn’t hear a peep https://ia801507.us.archive.org/13/items/jeffrey-epstein-flight-logs_202009/jeffrey-epstein-flight-logs.pdf
can he not step down but also consult?
each load / vote is a server request, so it limits the server load
No he didn’t. He was asked if he was ever one oxygen and would respond with “that’s right he’s not on it right now”. Idk if he’s only allowed to directly disclose stuff the president has agreed to because of HIPAA, but the doc knew that he could kinda avoid the question in a fine enough way by focusing on that he was doing well now. Which he was. But he just confirmed today that he was on oxygen for a short time on Friday, and said that he might have had it for a very brief time yesterday morning.
They specifically did NOT say that he hadn’t needed it before. That’s kind of the point. But the fact that he doesn’t now means that he should be fine. Like others have said, I can imagine getting shortness of breath when finding out you have it. I got shortness of breath from nerves when I THOUGHT I might have it.
He meant who he was picking in the game.
EDIT: I'm not saying he isn't going to vote that way I'm just saying the context of what Obama says is clearly about the game:
"Who are you picking shaq?" "I plead the fifth" "Well I know I'm not the main event tonight, but I did want to take time to talk about poll workers"
I’m saying that the doctor, his White House doctor, in the presser said he is not on oxygen. Then a few people asked if he ever was and he very clearly sidestepped because I can only imagine that giving false information as a doctor especially can just end your career. Like he very clearly could not say “he’s never been on oxygen”. My point though is that could have been like as he slept or something idk.
I'm pretty sure Twitter embeds have a bug on their typeface rendering, the 'well' in this looks kinda weird on my screen too, but it is two 'L's
I think they wouldn't have said the positive stuff about him doing well today if it weren't true, but he pretty much confirmed that he was on oxygen at some point. But that doesn't immediately mean its the worst case scenario. He was asked and would deflect the question to "none today".
I mean I had shortness of breath when I thought I MIGHT have it a few months ago, so makes sense for nerves to affect stuff like that. I can’t imagine how stressful being sick like this must be
The funny thing is that there literally has never been a female SEAL, so it’s just incorrect to be gender neutral.
There is a huge difference between the employees of Wall Street groups who make like 500k - a few million a year and the high ups who make 20 - 100 million a year or more.
I don’t care about the donors losing money from their endless piles of cash. I care about the damage that would be caused to communities before that happened. Even if it was dollar for dollar, I’d rattle the local business keep their livelihood in tact even if it means these shady bail funds don’t go dry. So effective no bail or even delayed bail is fine by me.
I don’t know about you guys, but there’s something that I think liberals don’t get. It’s kind of on the same level as “borders aren’t real”. If I were in another country, even one I disagreed with, I still would stand for their anthem. I’d show it respect
I agree. As terrible as it is it makes me feel good since I backward times like these I know it must be hard for people to stand when literally everyone else around them isn’t.
Plus, you know, the whole empty stadium thing right after the NFLPA agreement. The next few years are gonna get rocky for a few teams at the very least
Like actually nothing. It varies but literally is used more as a resume builder for people and you make basically nothing
They booed the “I’m going to stay in the locker room for the anthem”. No one would’ve booed if they also fuckin stood for the anthem outside THEN did something like that
The thing that bothers me more than the kneeling is the people that blame people for getting upset at it. I’d respect someone going and doing a controversial thing like that since it does kind of take some balls to do that. But then people turn around and kinda say “it’s just a flag, who care”. It would get no traction if it wasn’t during the anthem. If they all stood for the anthem and then did the locked arms shit I wouldn’t care, no one would care. It’d be under the same level as like the cancer awareness months that the nfl would do. But all the people who turn around and say how dare I be upset about people kneeling during the anthem are trying to have it both ways and I’m so sick of it. But still, fuck those millionaires who’d rather virtue signal than love our country
It can be both. One is the initial cause and the other is the solution. Democratic policies crippled the black nuclear family, made them dependent on the government at higher rates than other groups, and devastated black communities in countless ways. This led to poverty and poor education at high rates. How to fix this? By having strong individuals in the community recognize the problem and actually speak Up and act towards fixing it, making a cultural change back to the nuclear family, etc.
My thoughts on corporate America make me think you’re right about the risk analysis, but then I realize from working I corporate America that they’re just as likely to ignore those analyses to just appease employees
Pulse was awful to be sure, and on US soil. But the turning point in my head and what really sticks out to me is the Bataclan, and I’m amazed at how little people bring that up.
Here's the only one I've seen, Pat McAfee openly admitting that he shouldn't have reported it. That's a sports YouTube show...
For programmers it is still very much merit based. The interviews are tests, and it’s just “can you do x”. The decision making around programming though... yea you’re right
