Climate change is a natural part of Earths history. The period of relative stability we currently live in is extremely, mind bogglingly rare. Violent and sudden changes (in geological time terms) are the historical norm.
We are at the tail end of an ice age currently so we can expect temps to gradually rise over the next few 10s of thousands of years.
There is exactly nothing we can do about this.
What we can do is take common sense measures to look after the environment and protect delicate ecosystems. Things like limit single use plastics and apply pressure to countries like China and India who produce most of the worlds pollution and plastic garbage.
