I'm no expert, but here's my take.
The YT channel LinusTechTips did a video earlier this year on deepfakes, and in that video, they showed a deepfaked clip that looked pretty convincing. They showed what a head-swapped clip before time-consuming editing looked like, and the smudging in the hair and generally low detail in the head raise my suspicions, as it resembles the clips from the video. It looks like they had someone with a similar build to President Trump speak, and then quickly did the head-swap edit, but didn't have time to increase the detail. Producing these is extremely resource-intensive after all. Here is the video if you want to watch it. I'm not entirely sure how they did the sound if this is faked, but this is DS, after all, so they probably have much more powerful AI for doing audio.
