One thing I think that is worth noting is toward the bottom:
Non-Primary Voter Heatmap compared to the Republican and Democrat Primary Voter Heatmap. Republicans basically had the same motivation as they do during a Midterm cycle to participate in the primaries. If you compare the non-primary voter heatmaps to the primary voters of both parties you will notice that the "hot-spots" match almost exactly each day where republican primary voters are turning out in droves.
We want to see a highly dense turnout for dems in CD18 (Sheila Jakcson) because her district is the throwaway district in terms of gerrymandering. What we also want to see is non-primary voter hotspots being in the same place as primaried republican hotspots. Icing on the cake if those same spots are not hotspots for the democrats.
In CD2 (Crenshaw) we see non primaried voters participating in spring, kingwood, and cypress; these hotspots match pretty closely with primaried Rs and several hotspots that show up for the NOns dont show up for the blues.
in CD 7 (Hunt) and 10 (McCaul) we see the same exact situation. Im a pretty happy pede right now.
