The way I phrased it was in terms of facts:

In the vast majority of cases, sworn witness testimony is sufficient to grant the plaintiff rights to discovery. Discovery is where we would do things like engage a forensic computer analyst to look at the voting machine hardware and software. We would also be able to inspect the physical ballots, and all security recordings from election night, ultimately determining if there was a preponderance of evidence to indicate that fuckery went down.

This didn't happen, the courts prevented us from doing any sort of discovery, and any evidence we may have been able to see has long since been destroyed. Hence we're extraordinarily pissed off because the "checks and balances" designed to safeguard our rights are being used instead to trample over them. It's no longer an issue of whether Trump won or lost, but rather that dozens of millions of WE THE PEOPLE were summarily dismissed by a government that seemingly pretends to compete with each other, but the minute anything remotely controversial grips a large chunk of the population, they fall into lockstep with each other against us.
In the face of the above, all my brother could do was fall back to arguing philosophy, because his assertion that Trump somehow betrayed his oath of office was false on its face.
I've literally been saying that Biden will "president" from the basement until he retires at 2 years and 1 day. During this time Kamala will be President in all but name.

If we hold onto control of the senate, and the GOP doesn't immediately embrace their old buddy of 50 years, then maybe we can turn him into a lame duck. Then maybe the GOP can adopt some populist strategy and put together a concerted campaign to flip the house. Then maybe we can conduct a decent investigation into Biden's history as vice president that produces sufficient evidence to find him guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors (which the Ukraine insanity proved is a meaningless phrase).
The more likely scenario is for me to go across the street, buy as many guns as I can afford, and hunker down for the inevitable declaration that Joe's unfit to serve so long live President Harris. They can redistribute my wealth when they pry it from my cold, dead fingers, but I'll take a few of them with me.
Of course not. Its more important for people who are too dumb to gather some basic documents and stand in line for a non-driver ID card from the DMV to vote than for us to feel secure that our vote is counted. Simply wouldn't be fair to them if we got our IDs scanned and they couldn't.

Yes, she completed the oath ceremony and registered to vote via NJ’s website. That said, the site didn’t give a confirmation number, and Passaic County board of elections isn’t picking up the phones (cos covid lol) so not 100% sure that it went through. Our county seat is Paterson, which just had a massively fraudulent vote-by-mail local election. Shenanigans wouldn’t surprise me.
Plan is for both of us to go in-person to fill out provisional ballots on election day. Gov Murphy declared that electronic voting machines can’t be used at all this year, everything is on the same paper ballots as the mail-ins. The whole thing smells like shit, tbh.
Most Cubans still on the island (and a few that made it here) don’t deserve it one bit. American citizenship is not a right, its something you strive to earn through sacrifice and working like a beast.
But yeah, you’re right, it feels hypocritical as fuck to have taken advantage of the lax border policies under Obama while decrying those same policies as a disaster for the country. For every one like my wife, untold thousand bottom-feeders made their way through. All we can do is keep working to earn what we’ve been given, and never forget what we came from.
