So if you support the worker then a free market based economy is what is best. The problem is when people look at capitalism they think of greed, sadly greed is in all economic systems. The core element of capitalism is as i pointed out is a free market. Having a free market allows for goods to go down is price because there isn't a monopoly over it. For example the social media companies have a monopoly over there industrie thoe they do not exchange goods they are a place for people to exchange political views has we saw they ban Republicans more, they get away with it because they know they don't have competition, they there for are monopoly which is why they will be broken up.
Now for the start of capitalism is what we called croniesism or cronie capitalism. When unions started they were good, better work conditions, child labor laws and more. The problem with unions is that by post WW2 those union started to Monopolies thus conttling the cost of goods. Croniesism we see this more in country's like Russia.
So the problem isn't a free market the problem is Monopolies and I would argue that anything other than capitalism will have Monopolies.
