I hear you. My neighbourhood had a street that, maybe ten years ago, was run-down. Closed storefronts, pawn shops, "trading companies" (knockoff Chinese junk stores.) Then hipsters started moving in to the empty storefronts and we got organic food stores, cafes, art supply stores. I said "okay, it's not great, but this is a step in the right direction." Now? It's closed storefronts, pot shops and tattoo parlours, and to top it off my favourite pizza place went belly-up. I'd argue now it's even worse than it was.

I think America will recover better than other countries. Trump said he was going to focus on getting manufacturing back inside the country, which is what you're going to need. My province? Manufacturing is DEAD. Sure we have natural resources, but when we export them overseas so they can sell us what they made from them, that's not great for the economy.

People right now are afraid to fly, assuming they're in countries that even allow their citizens to fly.

Rather than trying to make things more comfortable for passengers, or assuring them that it's safe, or lowering the prices (they can't do that all that much, I know, because of gas prices,) they forced masks upon people, kicking families with babies off planes, telling passengers that they can't even have carry-on luggage and they must check everything. So now people are afraid AND uncomfortable. So it's no surprise nobody wants to fly and the airlines are getting fucked. They deserve it.

Television wouldn't work, and only online streaming wouldn't give them nearly enough revenue to be sustainable, unless you revert to an 1890s-style game where the players are paid pittances and expected to have other jobs.

But with all that said... would you even find venues willing to host them? Professional venues would be too costly, and university or even high school fields would say no on political grounds.
