Unsure if the DC guys are armed with rifles or not, unless the rifles are being carried by vehicle. Armed soldiers marching in DC would cause a much bigger stir if they were carrying openly, so I'd expect concealed carry such as compact SMG or PDWs in their rucks or something, and a service pistol.
The convoy in TX is definitely armed, you can see the top-mounted guns on them.
EDIT: at ~50 seconds you can see the infantryman behind that vehicle carrying a rifle.

Reading through the thread and looking at the photos, these guys were Oath Keepers, or were posing as them. 10th Guardians patch on the back of one.

I think he does have the military support. A MAGA trucker reported he's been seeing national guard convoys on the interstates, and there are still 7k troops or so in DC. That's not enough troops if civil war is anticipated, but it IS enough troops to handle any Antifa takeover attempts.
Y'all are also not very observant. THere are 7000 soldiers deployed around DC. It's not the police that'll be shooting you if Antifa does this, it'll be the military.
The capitol police likely wont even show up because the department wont risk their people getting caught in the middle.

So? The goal isn't to compete with them. It's to get our own platform operational, and in so-doing deprive the platforms we actually intend to compete with of their userbases by adhering to the principles of the 1st Amendment.
