Many of them don't know at all. They're 90% tuned-out of politics. They get 10m of CNN per week in waiting rooms and airports and they read the headlines of FB articles. That's it.

I know plenty of smart people who know next to nothing about politics and believe MSM narratives because they've never had to care about the news and haven't really started paying any attention.

My wife works at Mayfair. She's still stuck inside

My wife works there; she's stuck inside at the moment...

Very similar story and timeline to mine. Peterson was a huge part of my initial red pill.

That makes it worse. That means that the law is written in a way that even the authors know won't be enforced. That means that the law is designed to give certain people arbitrary power that they know will not be used fairly.

I mean, they called me and scheduled me to help this coming weekend so...probably

I'm in too. The Trump campaign called me about it last weekend.

I was raised religious (although not Christian) and went through my edgy atheist phase in college/mid-20s. I've been drifting back towards God in recent years but all this nonsense in 2020 has really accelerated me down that path.

Gotta be honest, still feel a little lost. But I also feel like I'm on some kind of numinous path

WordPress uses those technologies too. There are tons of other (far better) CMS software tools out there.

Electing a fascist would be a "out of the frying pan into the fire" situation for all those innocent and vulnerable people.

Disagree. This is the line to not cross. If we want to act like we're the better side then we have to be the better side.

Could it be? The tick that actually has a tock?

Yup. I believe you're right.

Early in the year I couldn't figure out what they were doing. Biden was such a bad candidate and he somehow managed to pick an even less likeable runningmate. Biden basically didn't campaign at all and gaffe'd constantly whenever he did.

At first, my conclusion was that they knew their odds of winning weren't great and they didn't want to waste anyone who had a future in the party. Then we started hearing about mail-out ballots and fraud. Part of me knew they were going to go for the steal but it didn't really sink in until election night.

Now we see how poorly-concealed and poorly-executed the attempt actually was. I fear you may be right: civil war may be the actual goal not just an unfortunate externality.

Trump: My betting odds have doubled since the last time we met Joe.

Biden: Good. Twice the odds, double the fraud.

Keep in mind: the president can only pardon people for federal crimes. A presidential pardon is no protection from state charges; state governors would have to do that.

I think there's some truth in what you're saying.

I think there's a bigger difference between political outsiders and the establishment than there is between establishment GOP and establishment Dems.

That said, never underestimate the power of an individual. Barr has been a lot less active than I had hoped but I do still feel that he's a good man (just my hunch).

I'm past the point of surprise. No amount of evil from these people can shock me now. They could decapitate a baby in the street and eat it. It'd be sickening but not surprising.

Exactly. It's not a new issue: these vulnerabilities have existed for awhile and Republicans still won elections and still held power despite that fact. The cheating was at an acceptable level. McConnell didn't have to pay any attention to it.

Now the cheating is becoming the subject of widespread public scrutiny and the scale has been ratcheted-up significantly.

Maybe he feels like now he has to act.
