Pennsylvania: House Judiciary Chairman Vows to Put an End to Ammunition Tax and Permit Requirement Legislation

On Tuesday, March 10, the House Judiciary Committee received House Bill 2344, legislation that implements a “permit to purchase” for ammunition, as well as a tax on all ammo purchases. Sponsored by anti-gun Representative Thomas Murt, this legislation is a slap in the face to law-abiding gun owners whose excise taxes already fund many conservation programs in The Keystone State.

In regards to the bill's referral to the House Judiciary Committee, Chairman Rob Kauffman stated, “This unconstitutional legislation is an affront to every law-abiding gun owner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. HB 2344 goes on the list of anti-Second Amendment legislation that will never see the light of day as long as I’m Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee in Pennsylvania.”

Once the COVID-19 virus is contained, we should remember that Representative Rob Kauffman respects and upholds the right of law-abiding citizens to defend themselves and their loved ones.

Had to grab some stuff after work and went down all the aisles. Wanted to let you all know what i saw. 2% milk was gone. The only water was the gallon jugs. Bread aisle was empty. I did not check the TP because I don't need any at the moment. And if this was a time of crisis that would not be my go to item. My bug out bag does not have TP in it. Maybe I need to re-think my survival plans :/ I was able to grab the last plain eggos, so that is a plus. Be safe, make sure your elders are G2G and we will all get through this.
