Patriot Party members will be branded as far right wing white supremacist neo nazis and jailed long before that happens. As much as I'm for creating a new party, seems like an ez mode method for the establishment to flush MAGA out of the legacy parties.
2000 and 2004 made me suspicious. 2008 disillusioned me. 2012 pissed me off. I left the GOP in 2012. I've been begrudgingly voting Republican since then. I'm a conservative without a home. When Trump creates a new political party, I'm in.
The worst part of this, aside from him saying the problem is people have more choise, is where he says "We have given a lot of leeway...for people to have a broad range of views." That should tell you everything you need to know about these people.
Welcome to unaffiliated. I switched after giving my vote to that neocon RINO Romney in 2012. I hadn't looked back until Trump, and might have gone GOP again had he won, but after the shameful way the GOP has acted over the last few months, there's no way in hell.
