I think that was one of biggest misteps during his presidency. He could have used his four years to boost up a social media that wasn't hell bent on his distruction.

Yes but it's not "socially" acceptable to call out a Shaniqua.

Am I the only person that doesn't like the use of Karen? "Karens" are always crazy white women. There is no specific name for any other color women that has caught on and become socially acceptable to say. I think it's just another way of society saying it's okay to group white people together in a negative manner (see also the word redneck) but there are no socially acceptable names to use for calling out any other color of people. I'm all for making fun of crazy people but the hypocrisy of what can\can't be said gets me.

This is one of the reasons why I started homeschooling my kids. Three years of her history classes consisting of nothing but talking about slavery. The topic should definitely be covered but the US history has so many other facets to discuss as well.

You described one of my previous co-workers exactly. Sad sack who works hard and loves his family but his 300lb disabled wife (being disabled is her identity along with being a leftist) runs his world. Over the course of ten years he went from my manager, to my peer, to a temp hire because she made sure he was always at her beckon call. The tragic part is his 22 year old son has caught liberalism and while he doesn't have a girlfriend. he does post on FB everyday about women and minority issues.

Reddit is getting ready for a mass culling. Multiple subreddits are going dark to protest reddit allowing "hate" subreddits to exist. This is a completely planned event between popular subreddits and it is going to be another mass culling of any subreddit that doesn't love leftist policies.

I knew it wouldn't fly but I tried submitting it to \r\unpopularopinion. Yeah, mods said I was spreading misinformation even though it was my OPINION.

My post: "Several popular subreddits have decided to "go-dark" to protest the hate speech subreddits that reddit allows to exist. On the surface this sounds fine and dandy, I've no idea what true "hate" subreddits are out there but I'll assume there are some. When the culling comes, it's won't just be true hate subreddits getting removed, it will be anything that in some way or form goes against the extreme leftist hive-mind that dominates reddit. This is a calculated move to further remove contrary opinions .

Don't 100% support BLM protests? Hate subreddit, gone.

Lots of upvoted posts with viewpoints contrary to \news\ or \politics? Hate subreddit, gone.

Pointing out the selective censorship on reddit? Hate subreddit, gone.

Bringing up uncomfortable statistics? Hate subreddit, gone."

That's the same amount of time I would wait for the picture of Cindy Crawford in her white bikini to load.

This is already happening. One of the front page Reddit posts with 38k votes is a picture of a large gathering of white people from Missouri out enjoy the pool. The title of the post? "This weekend in the USA Missouri.. Why does the US has more death than India and China together.."

Let me save you the joy of browsing the comment section. It's mostly all about the apocalypse of the going to be here any day 2nd wave.

Gyms opened up in my state today too. This was the top voted comment from our soy based city subreddit.

"Seems like a terrible place to be right now, honestly. I get people want things to be open again, but a place where you're breathing harder than usual and no one cleans up after themselves? Nah, I'm good doing bodyweight fitness at home. I know everyone is excited to get “back to normal” but it’s important to remember that we’re doing all of this reopening right now for economic reasons. It’s not based on any changes in the situation or data pointing to declining infection rates. We’re just reopening now because it’s politically and economically expedient to do so.

So, don’t forget that it’s still dangerous to be around other people and that nothing about the facts on the ground have changed. Be careful not to get too caught up in the rush to reopen that you neglect your safety, or the safety of your friends, family, and neighbors."

This happened the first week of February. My 6 year old son complained of headaches and had on again and off again fever for a solid week. He had no appetite and no energy for that week. We took him the pediatrician who told us go to the ER which we did. He was in the hospital for two days and got antibiotics via IV. They did a CAT scan and saw some infection in his throat but nothing needing surgery. He went home on the 3rd day. It was another week before he was back to full steam.

This was right before the COVID craziness kicked. I'm 90% sure he had the virus, the hospital was never able to tell us what was wrong (like a specific illness or reason for the fever).

Gotta pump up the ego of all those "essential" workers so that they'll vote democrat in the election. Once the election is one they will see how essential the decocrats really think they are.

You fool, don't you read facebook!

(Actual post with lots of likes)

*Looking at local news, Elizabeth Anne Brown with the Citizen Times reports... a team of North Carolina epidemiologists and data scientists — including experts from Duke University, UNC Chapel Hill, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NC, NoviSci and RTI International — say they've developed a hybrid model based on hyper-local data.

In the 'maintain' scenario, the team's models suggest peak stress on the health care system would likely occur in mid-to-late May, according to the brief. At that time, they estimate a 25% chance that the state's hospital beds would be insufficient to meet demand from COVID-19 patients.

In the 'lift' scenario, where aggressive social distancing orders end before May 1, the models suggest a 50% chance that there won't be enough hospital beds to care for COVID-19 patients across the state, the report said.*

When did men bawling their eyes out become a reliable news source? I was flipping channels today and they had old grandpa crying a river from his webcam because he was so sad about the current state of healthcare. Of course the story didn't mention what was wrong with the healthcare system, it was just another soy based leftie that was probably sad because his wife is to old to get a new boyfriend.

My city's subreddit was full of tattle-tale posts the first few weeks of the quarantine. It ranged from "someone call the police on these people!" to "This is why we're all going to fucking die!" posts. Now that the sky isn't completely falling one of the top rated posts is about starting a nerf gun league.

If the hospitals were in nearly the bad shape as the media claims, there would be 24 Hour news crews setup at the hospitals. The media would milk the shit of that kind of footage. Instead all have to rely on is "experts" who aren't named or, even more aggravating to me, when they interview random people and take their word for it.

Their crocodile tears only came out when they thought there was money or fame to be made from his downfall. He can go right back to his old ways and none of his accusers will actually care.

Since there was no gun involved and the violence wasn't against a minority you can bet this will be nothing more then a blip on the media.

" I in no way meant to cause anyone discomfort. At the time I thought it was harmless fun. Now I realize in this day and age that I should not have posted it. Obviously it did offend some folks. I can assure everyone that was not my intent. I have learned a lot from this. Going forward I will keep this in mind."

No Santa, never apologize. The people that are "offended" will never forgive you, they will only use the apology as justification for their continued self-righteousness.
