as mentioned, i compared it to a 3rd dataset (https://data.cdc.gov/NCHS/Weekly-counts-of-deaths-by-jurisdiction-and-age-gr/y5bj-9g5w/) to see which curve and numbers were correct.
edit: i agree. There’s plenty of data to show we shouldn’t be locking down. My point is that we shouldn’t use OPs data as it is based on faulty data originally from the CDC and will be debunked.
the dataset i think is more accurate only goes from 2019-2020, but you can see the difference between the two graphs in the curve of the numbers starting in April of 2020. They should match, but do not, so one of them is faulty. I ran the numbers for “Weekly Deaths by Age and State” and it matches with the 2019-2020 curve.

I think covid is overblown, but I ran the numbers this morning and there's a difference in datasets that the CDC provides. She used the longer timeframe and it seems it is missing data
