I got laid off beginning of last year by my idiot employer and they announced it early. They paid us a little severance, but when I did my taxes, I found out they didn't take the taxes out. I now have a big tax bill.

Awesome! Today is day 6 for me of my Coke boycott. I can't believe it that I made it this far. :) I drank Coke for almost 15 years every day. I was at the supermarket yesterday and I bumped into it and I didn't even crave it.

I've hated that man for a long time. He really turned a page in my thinking that I'd be willing to lose a seat to a democrat for a bit if it meant throwing garbage like him out in the long term.

I don't think you'll find a source that "is not a broken clock who has a very good read on the economic situation". I am totally a "broken clock" :).

You can do just a little bit as part of a diversification strategy.
