As I said, I'm not trying to be a doomer. Unfortunately my situation just has me surrounded by them right now, and it seems to be rubbing off. Just a fair warning - you getting the vaccine won't prevent you from bringing it home to her. A Vaccine gives you a weakened / Dead Virus (plus a bunch of other nasties, but lets not get into that). The weakened / Dead Virus triggers your immune system to begin creating antibodies, which then attack the virus. However, it does not stop you from catching it - you can be vaccinated and still be a carrier; somebody who isn't vaccinated could catch it from you and get infected despite you being vaccinated,
