I have been up to the canyon country. I have been to a few spots just inside the borders in the NE part of the state (TX, OK, & AR).

I like to fish and hike and like hilly country. When you say "Texas Hill country", is there some specific cities/spots that you can clue me in on. (I don't mind heat, but would like to find a part of the state that has some evening/nighttime "relief". Seems like that might be more NW?

I have three properties (all red states, but one in Florida). Official Florida resident, but was spending more time in the other locations. Even thought about moving the "whole operation" out of Florida.

Because of the giant balls that DeSantis has shown (and lots of his actions, like cleaning up my old stomping ground of Broward county), I did a full 180 on moving out of Florida. Moved the entire operation back to Florida, bought a new property (strategically positioned in more ways than one), but I've got my eye on a few spots in Texas.

And, assuming that my fellow Texan Pedes would welcome a 2A loving Pede, (YES), I'm happy to take suggestions. [Hint]
