Many of these situations are powder kegs and all it takes is a bed-shitter to lose his cool or some roid head to go into a Stallone character and it'll escalate.
A raging mob (like we saw all summer) that is coming at you, that action is warranted. But, a peaceful but frustrated group will turn to a raging mob when incited.
And that's exactly what the DC/Capitol police did. THEY incited the riot. There are reports that "additional security" was hired. And, there are reports that the "additional security" were the very people that were causing the riots over the summer (read: BLM and antifa types).
I'm guessing but it's probably clear that: a) they fired first, but also b) the records will show that the "additional security" has arrest records and likely arrest records this summer.
